Hey! I’m moving at my own pace!

Prom was enjoyable. I danced awkwardly during fast songs and kept saying “I want to go to there” and instead of eating the formal way, I ate how I wanted to eat which was more practical. Oh Liz Lemon. I have patterned my whole self on you. And I went on my first sleepover ever!

Anyway, enough of that… Thanks to those who looked after my emotionally unstable self before the prom. I feel a lot better and I’ve got a more positive outlook on life now… and with more self-restraint. (I wonder if he noticed this.)

So I gotta move on my own pace now. Can’t force people to what I want. Just gonna go with what God tells me to do… and apparently, God tells me to go on Neopets again. But I forgot the birthdate I put on my other account so now I can’t access the Laboratory anymore! EPIC FAIL.

Gah! So sleepy again!

There’s something wrong with my biological clock, apparently. All week, I’ve been feeling really sleepy. I mean, I can be active if I want to but the problem is I have a hard time getting up in the morning and I get so inactive in class. But it doesn’t reach a point where I sleep in class. I never sleep in school. The desks are always so hard and uncomfortable. However, when I get home from school and slump myself on the bed to do my homework, I usually close my eyes to rest but only to doze off during that.

I don’t know if it’s because I sleep at 11 every night or if school is really just boring… I just wish I was as active as I was before. I mean, school has been really uneventful so far… which means Hell Week is fast approaching! Drat! Everyone’s gonna go cramming. As a matter of fact, even some of the teachers are cramming and rushing the exams. Guess we underestimated the schedule. Seems like it wasn’t well thought-out.

I was really active in Social, though. The most active I’ve ever been, I think. Probably because Sir Lee was being observed by Ms. Neri that day. He rarely calls on students to recite in regular class days and when he does, it’s either I don’t know what to say or he skips out on me… I guess I could accept that. Speaking of activity, I have a feeling that I’m the only one really participating in English. Everyone seems to be having trouble with their research paper preparations while I’m just going with the flow of things and being really active. I’m not saying I’m doing perfectly well in English but it’s just that… for the first time, I’m actually enjoying the subject! Hmm. Social and English. That seems to be my two favorite subjects since I talk about them so much around here.

Ooh. “Operation: Bear Day” is nearing completion. Phase One is complete. Phase Two is complete. All we need is Phase Three and I’m set! Anyway, to end this entry, here’s a video! Prop 8 the Musical! Jack Black as Jesus? Gotta love it! Enjoy. :D

Thanks to Bianca for sharing this news to me. Anyway, I feel a lot better now compared to yesterday. The groups will not be reshuffled and we’re doing an acting gig in English (I’m going to play a young Heathcliff), I did good in making my THE project, Geom is the usual funniness, our CL project was graded 49 out of 50 and Ms. Kresta was our substitute for Filipino and we talked about movies, as usual! ‘Twas a good day, you know… Despite Sir Lee being absent. (For the first time, too. Hope you’re okay, sir!) But yeah. I’m sure things will go back to normal come Monday… Oh wait. We don’t have classes on Monday… Tuesday, then! :D

Ugh. I was supposed to dedicate this day to school work but I failed miserably because I did everything in my power to escape it. Although I didn’t really completely avoid it. I’m not cramming it. I’m just doing things at different intervals so that leads to me half-assing my work. On the bright side, I uploaded David Cook’s album, the Rent Movie soundtrack and a bunch of video podcasts of CNN’s The Situation Room into my iPod.

And today, I realized that I actually have been watching less movies than I thought. I thought I was as big as a movie buff as two of my favorite English teachers but clearly, there is work to be done! Heck, I haven’t even seen much of the recent epic movies so how could I call myself a movie buff? I have to be more impartial in my selection of movies and not just focus on the genre of film noir. Not all great films are in that genre! (But most of them are!)

Back to the title… Blerg! It’s so oddly placed. Last Sunday, we were required to go to school for the Family Day and I stayed there from 10:30 to 5:00 but I didn’t completely hate it. I was in good company! The two days after that, it made up for our weekend or as the school would like to call it… “Home Study Days”! Ten bucks says no one really studied on these days.

The following post was to be posted last night but apparently, it did not go through. In place of a regular blog entry for today, here’s the one for yesterday instead:

“Of course, that is the reason why we have no classes today anyway. It’s the end of Ramadan for the Muslims. How it affects Catholic schools, I don’t know… But hey! I’m not complaining!

So what did I do on this day of staying at home? I brought school to me. Why would I use this time to slack off? We’re being rushed in the Second Quarter! I started on the Coat of Arms project without my groupmates, I finished the mosaic project for my triad and I studied twice for the Social quiz on the Middle Ages. I also asked for Mary’s part in the English HW and I’m going to write everything tonight.

But all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy… or in this case, Nicole a dull girl.

I worked on my Dev-O. Martin already approved it so it should be ready to be posted on Monday. Can’t wait!

I was also p-chatting (paint chatting) with Phoebe and Bianca awhile ago. Ahh friendship. I also just realized how steady I drew using the tablet! It was so unlike me since my drawings were usually shaky or sketchy. For someone who doesn’t draw using the tablet often, I’m improving! I miss Phoebe. Hope she really can come on December!”
